HeritageQuest Challenge Week Two:

Peter Eastman (born 1710) came to Hampstead around 1732 and owned extensive lands on the western shores of Wash Pond where he and his wife Elizabeth raised 10 children. He was the first deacon of the Hampstead Congregational Church in 1753, was a Hampstead town selectman in 1760 and 1770, and was the town clerk of Hampstead for all but 2 years from 1749-1776.

Question: Search for him on Heritage Quest and find the link "New Hampshire, U.S., Wills and Probate Records, 1643-1982" attached to him. What is his inferred death year?

Submit your answer to Julie at JWatt@HampsteadLibrary.org by 11:59pm on Sunday, July 12 to be entered into this week’s raffle.
