Local musicians Sharon and Nick Panagaro treat us to the stories of American music and a variety of intruments. They were scheduled to do a concert at the Hampstead Public Library, but the healthcare emergency intervened. Sharon and Nick decided to bring their music to Hampstead with a video. They recorded at locations around town including Ordway Park, the Conservation area and the Library. They played a variety of instruments such as the bodhran, fiddles, guitar, harmonica, dobro, tenor banjo, 5-string banjo, and mandolins.
Miss Devin is leaving the Hampstead Public Library to follow her dreams in Texas. The public is welcome to a driving parade around the Library parking lot on Fri July 31 between 11 am and 12 pm. Devin will be outside and all are welcome to beep and wave. It'll give her a chance to wave good-bye to you too. Devin has enjoyed her time working in Hampstead with this fantastic community.
Professor Melissa Juchniewicz, English faculty at UMass Lowell, shares writing tips and writing exercises for an exploration of writing possibilities. The workshop includes a chance to write about what we imagine we might be doing now if we could, and even to re-imagine the stories we tell ourselves about our lives. There will be time for discussion and voluntary sharing of work. Advanced registration is required. Click here: https://forms.gle/zUXckY1z7gwWMfeGA
