Get ready for some St. Patrick's Day fun with this HPL Crafts @ Home Shamrock String Art craft kit! All necessary materials are included in the kit. Children will place each of the tiny plastic pegs into the foam base, so this one is best for kids over 3 who do not put things in their mouths.
Come by during our normal curbside hours and pick up a kit--available while supplies last.

Bags 4 Bench
Thanks to the efforts of Hampstead's Darlene Cote, the Library will be a recipient of a bench from the Trex Recycling Program. Darlene collects plastic bags. You can drop them off in the box at the end of her driveway at 30 Collins Drive, in East Hampstead.
Types of bags that can be collected & donated: plastic grocery bags, bread bags, case overwrap, dry cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, ice bags, wood pellet bags, ziplock & other re-sealable bags, produce bags, bubble wrap, salt bags, and cereal bags.
Snowman Hunt
It's time for the Snowman Hunt! We will post a list of street names where we know there will be snowmen, but there may be more around town for you to find. Go for a drive this week and find as many snow people as you can! Bonus if you spot some snow people made of actual snow!

Snowman Hunt Pick-Up
We're going on a ... SNOWMAN HUNT!
Step 1: Pick up your window snowman kit beginning 2/17 curbside.
Step 2: Decorate your snow person.
Step 3: (Optional) E-mail your street name to youthservices@hampsteadlibrary.org so that your street can be included on a list of locations to hunt for snow people. This list will be posted on Monday, Feb 22nd.
Step 4: Display your snow person in a front window of your home from February 22-28.
