Outdoor Family Story Time

Join us for our fall session of outdoor Story Time on Mondays at 11:00AM

Our Story Time session will feature themed stories and crafts!  Sing, move, and read with us! This program is designed for 3-6 year olds, but siblings and slightly younger or older children are welcome at their caregiver's discretion.  We can't wait to read with you!

This story time will feature the same stories, songs, and crafts as our earlier indoor story times.

In case of poor weather (rain, snow, very cold temps), this story time will be cancelled.

Billions of Bubbles

Billions of bubbles!  This STEM program for our Elementary-aged crowd will give kids the opportunity to experiment with bubbles.  We will make our own bubble solutions and bubble wands and learn how to create bubble snakes.  We will experiment and explore together and attendees will take home their wands and bubble snake makers.  This program will happen on the front lawn and will be rescheduled if the weather is poor.  Please dress appropriately.

Teen Water Wars

The HPL Teen Advisory Board is calling all teens (entering grades 5 and up in the fall) to join us on the lawn for Water Wars!

What to bring?  Squirters or water guns, and a towel, we promise you will want that when this is all done!

Activities will include sponge races, relays, and an ultimate water battle involving water balloons and whatever squirt toys you bring with you!
