Instructor Sue Crump, founder of The Peaceful Tree, leads us in a Meditation Class, suitable for beginners. Meditation and mindfulness are becoming increasingly popular due to the health and wellness benefits that regular practice offers. This series of 4 classes is offered at a beginner level for those new to meditation, however; the it could also offer meditators of all levels the benefit of reconnecting with fundamentals. The series will pair light meditation/mindfulness theory with guided meditation and mindfulness exercises. Focused awareness meditation and open awareness meditation will both be explored. The meditation sessions will be held virtually via Zoom and will be approximately 30 mins in length. Each week will be a stand-alone session so they can be attended separately or join for the 4 sessions and gain the benefit of weekly practice. Access to a guided meditation will be provided at the end of each session to allow for continued daily practice between sessions.
Attendance is limited; please sign-up in advance. You will be emailed the Zoom access link after you register, and when it becomes available. Click here to register: https://forms.gle/pwK58EYW1wc5H4ct8.
