Through the virtual medium of Zoom, the Library welcomes Native American Storyteller Anne Jennison on Wednesday, November 10 at 6 pm. In this family event, Anne shares a few of her favorite Northeast Woodlands Native American stories in a performance that includes an introduction with a traditional song, and an explanation of Abenaki storytelling traditions. Anne is a New Hampshire-based Storyteller who comes from countless generations of folks that lived in the Northeastern Woodlands. Her worldview and "voice" as a storyteller have been shaped by the places in which she lived, such as the Chesapeake area, Southeast Asia, Europe, the Midwest, Southeastern Massachusetts, and the New Hampshire Seacoast.
Advance registration is required. Registrants receive the Zoom link for the event, and may have the option to watch the presentation on the big screen in the Library’s second floor meeting room. Register HERE.
