Current Display: Erin Tatarczuk
Erin Tatarczuk (she/her) is an oil painter born and raised in the Exeter area and currently resides in Hampstead. The primary subjects of her large scale paintings are intimate spaces in the New England landscape. These nooks and crannies are where children spend so much of their time investigating, but are often bypassed by adults without a thought. Through her art she is able to hide, discover, and play all over again, and invites others to join her.
Erin graduated with a BA in Studio Art with a focus in Oil Painting from Plymouth State University. One of the paintings in her senior portfolio, Starting Fresh, was purchased by the school for the President’s Collection. She won Honorable Mention at a New London Center of the Arts juried show, and sold work out of the Newfields Main Street Art juried show: A Walk in the Woods (2019). Her solo shows have included the Exeter and Fremont public libraries, Cornucopia Wine and Cheese Shop, and the Firefly Restaurant in Manchester.
Erin has worked as an after-school Art Program Lead Teacher in Virginia and was the Artistic Administrator at Action Kids summer camp in Brentwood, NH. She is currently at home raising her two young children and endeavoring to paint miniature figures for tabletop games.
