We care about your health & well-being, and want to help you be the best that you can be.
Here are a few resources the Library has for you:
- Try librarian Sue’s weekly Meditation Classes.
- There are many self-improvement books in the Library’s nonfiction section (2nd floor) that you can borrow. You’ll find topics such as diet, nutrition, exercise, how to be happier, conquering anxiety, meditation, and more. There are also exercise DVDs (1st floor) for yoga, pilates, core workout, weight training, etc. Explore our catalog and reserve items for Curbside Pickup.
- Download magazines with the Flipster app or website. Try Eating Well, Women’s Health, Dr. Oz, and Mindful.
- Peruse databases such as Consumer Health Complete, or take a health related class with Universal Class.
And of course you can always ask a librarian for assistance finding more information and resources that you need.
